    Ritchey Z-Min, Maxxis Maxxlite 310, and Stan's

First off, has anyone used either of these lightweight tires? Are they close to advertised weight (370 and 310 grams, respectively)? Ane has anyone tried Stans in either of them? Any other feedback on their performance would be appreciated.

    MaxxLite

Every bit of feedback I have seen shows the MaxxLite coming in at, or just below the 310 gram mark. At this weight, you can imagine how supple this tire is and why it is intended for race use only. With this light of a sidewall, it is not designed for use with Stan's.

It does provide wicked acceleration and under the proper conditions can be a serious asset. Kabush pulled it out for the 2005 Sea Otter XC and brought home the win.
