    Lots of 06 Product Questions-Syncros, e13...

I was looking at two new syncros products, the 1.5 headset that is for regular forks and the chainguide. As for the headset do you think I would be better off with the e13 cups and regular headset or this one. It looks pretty sweet.

    Heres a link-

    its about halfway down

next any body check out the chainguide in person? looks cool. Is it worth trying or should i stick with e13
Also are the colored bash guards oem only?

I did a search to no avail so hopefully someone will know some info

    thanks

Generaly speaking, I think a 1.5 headset and then a reducing kit inside it for an 1 1/8" fork is a better way to go. You'll be utilizing better the strenghts of the 1.5 headtube design that way. And, if you have both 1.5 and a standard steerer fork, switching between them is a breeze - I do it all the time on my AS-X.
No real world testimonies yet of course, but that Syncros headset looks great.
