    Identify these Syncros cranks

My buddy has these cranks on an old GT that he has mostly cannibilzed for parts. These cranks are still on the bike and he offered them to me. Are they good retro cranks? I heard that syncros made a few steel cranks, are these those ones?

    Thanks!

Those are not the steel cranks. They are alloy. They're very nice cranks. I'll let others comment on the relative desirability.

The steel Revolution cranks look like this.

Those are forged aluminum, probably were on the market 1997-ish?
They came in silver or black. They were supposed to be a cheaper alternative to the steel Revolution cranks, but were still relatively expensive.
I'd certainly keep / ride them!

Near-net Forged was their true name. They were good quality square taper cranks.

I ran some on my SS for a time. They were good cranks.
