    Grips for Ritchey

What are my options for period grips for an '88 Ritchey TimberComp? It's the last thing I need to complete the project.

I'm fairly sure the True Grips were out then. If not, pretty soon after.

The true grips they sell now are junk. Crappy moldings. I get maybe 3 rides out of them before the split at the seams. I remember selling a alot of grabo-on foam grips on ritcheys.

Tioga BioGrips were period. There were some on the auction house last weekend and very inexpensive too.
Needed: 26.8mm XTR seatpost, blue GT/Grundig Jersey.

First Flight has those hitting the scene in 1990. I'm no expert tho.

You can still buy Grab-On grips today. Or get a set of the original WTB trail grips.
