DT Swiss Onyx/5.1D vs Syncros All Mountain

This is for a Turner 5 Spot build. It's been so long since I got a bike I'm having problems figuring out what to get. Intended use would be for aggressive XC and all mountain type (more XC then downhill). I'm 6'2" 175lbs. The white rim syncros look pretty sweet but I want the best set when it comes down to it. Any comments or experience with these wheels?

check out the DT Swiss 340 Trail

See the DT Swiss Classic wheel line here:

This set has the same EX5.1 rims, Competition 2.0/1.8/2.0mm spokes, but with the 340 ratchet drive hubs. 100% hand made. Plus, the rear can be had with a 10mm thru-bolt (bolt on), which is a great way to stiffen up any frame.
