    One person said they cornered with their inside pedal down on concrete. Their pedal hit and when they checked the pedal, it was fine. Left a gouge in the concrete over a half inch deep though.

    If you want tough, get them.

    I have the cromos. I've never slipped yet. But if I do, I hope I'm wearing my shin guards! Outstanding pedals IMO.

    Chromoly != Stainless Steel

    Steel is a generic term, like car or bike. There are many types of steel. I believe 4130 steel is generally considered a harder steel than stainless although stainless can be heat treated to achieve a higher native tensile strength.

    I have the stainless steel ones, toughest pedal ever. Ive broken wellgo and azonics (2) and these have stood up to everything. Get'm, one less thing to worry about.

    I believe this is the difference:
    CrMo = nubs, not replaceable
    SS = replaceable pins

    I have not heard of anyone that has crmo with replaceable pins
