Couldn't agree more, incredible effort, probably surpasses the effort of every rider in front of him.

I give the gold star to Danny Martin. Here is a guy that repeatedly gets off the mat and gives it a go every day.

    From 2017: https://www.nbcsports.com/video/2017...ash-dan-martin

    From this year: https://www.nbcsports.com/video/tour...-yellow-jersey

Here is a guy that just doesn't stay at the back of the pack hoping to finish but he animates day after day after day.

I loved watching him too. The way he looks sort of out of control when he goes on the attack was cracking me up.
Craddock was our US hero this year, and I feel like it was a ride I can stand behind! The cobbles, the ridiculous mountains, I honestly felt like it was a longshot at first that he would finish but he did a great job and raised a lot of money.
The "lantern rouge" has a tradition of being a popular rider. I think the time cut came about because guys were sandbagging it to be the lantern rouge and get invited to the after tour races and other perks :P
