Alliterates Anonymous notwithstanding, I headed to Moab on Thursday with my iPod set to "M". Marc Cohn, Mark Knopfler, Mary Chapin Carpenter, and Maura O'Connell accompanied me.

Five days in the desert + new camera = many photos to sift through. Here are a couple of teasers--in color for now.

As Monday afternoon wore on, I suspected that the light might be getting nice later in the evening. I skipped dinner and drove up past the Slickrock Trail to see what I could see.

I stopped this afternoon en route to Grand Junction to rustle up a little leg stretch. So here's one for our favorite wildflower lover. (hint: Austin TX, big wheels, new kitchen in progress)
