Passion for my first real ride with my new bike in Nebraska

Finally got the new bike out on a trail. This is Wildcat Hills near Scottsbluff, Nebraska. I huffed and puffed, was freaked out, punctured my skin multiple times, and had several slow falls. And, boy-howdy does it feel good.

Looks nice! My wife's from NE and I've always wanted to riding there whenever I visit, now I am even more jealous that I haven't been riding there

How long did it take ya to get the bike on that rock?
The bike is nothing more then circles turning circles, It's the human motor that makes it elegant.

About 5 minutes, but the whole time I was getting that shot I was praying the wind would not blow my bike off the 50' drop.

Nice pics, love the bike on the rock. Wonder how long it took the person who built that bridge to realize their design was flawed....

There's riding in west Nebraska? Excellent, I might get to ride a bit earlier in my road-trip than I anticipated. We just had another foot of snow overnight in Canmore, AB - trails still buried. Looking forward to leaving winter behind & exploring the west-USA.

Very cool! Nice to see the trails in that area. Driven through Nebraska multiple times and wondered if there was any riding in the Western part of the state.

    Very nice.
When under pressure, your level of performance will sink to your level of preparation.

Nice job, Brian. I recognize some of these spots, but not all of them. I will definitely have to get out there soon!

That bridge got somewhat disassembled somehow and the one plank with bolts right in the middle made it quite interesting to cross.

Next time I visit my pops in Valentine, I'll have to take my bike and stop off in Scottsbluff. Very nice scenery.
