    My Happy Place

Yesterday's ride was magical. Man, it's been a long winter. Warmer rains recently have opened up my backyard. The higher, alpine zones are still blanketed in snow and ice. The atmosphere yesterday was my favorite for riding -- 40 degrees, a light drizzle, and a mist drifting in and out of the trees. I apologize for the subpar pictures; I don't have anything fancier than my iPhone. But hopefully I captured the experience.

    My backyard (happy place):

    Heading into the zone.

The moss on the trees was glowing almost florescent green; hard to capture with my phone, unfortunately.

This tree was probably here before Thomas Jefferson wrote "We hold these truths to be self-evident..."

Seat dropped. Check. Fullface. Check. Hero dirt. Check. A fog rolls in. This will be fun...

    Hope you enjoyed.

“Captured the experience” you did. Thanks for sharing. Not a bad looking back yard, where is that?

Yeah, great pics. I know what you mean about pics not capturing the way the moss looks. Still the pics so give something of the day’s flavour. Thanks for sharing.

I'd rather not say. If you're ever in Montana though, send me a PM and I'll tell you where the goods are.
