Mt Bike Oregon ticket Auction for Charity- Auction ends Sunday April 9

Mt Bike Oregon is an MTBR sponsor, and this auction is a fundraiser for 2 local non-profit Mountain Bike clubs that are responsible for maintaining the trails in and around Oakridge Oregon, home of Mountain Bike Oregon.

Mt Bike Oregon, one of the best weekends of biking and fun available, is held 2 times per summer in Oakridge Oregon. With classic trails such as Alpine trail, Middle Fork, Larrison Rock, Heckletooth, Lawler and Hardesty, Mt Bike Oregon offers up more incredible trail riding in a 3 day weekend than you ever thought possible. Enjoy the trails all day, and then hang out in the Beer Garden enjoying free microbrews from some of Oregon's best breweries while you hang out and talk about the next day's rides. All meals are provided, and there are bike mechanics to help you with mechanicals, plus there are tons of demo bikes from a wide range of brands available to try out on the trails.

This event has become very popular in the past few years. Only 30 people attended the first year (2006?), but now so many people want to attend that the hold 2 session, one in July and 1 in August. Each session is capped at 300 people and they both sell out. This year, August has already sold out, and the July session is nearly full. These Auctions are your only chance to get a ticket to August Mt Bike Oregon. July will definitely sell out soon. so don't delay if you want to attend.

The promoter for Mt Bike Oregon, Randy Dreiling, has generously offered 2 tickets for either session to the local MTB clubs as a fundraiser for our trail maintenance funds. The Greater Oakridge Trail Stewards (GOATS) and the Disciples of Dirt (DOD) are responsible for maintaining all the trails used at Mt Bike Oregon as well as dozens of miles of other trails in the area. These clubs are committed to keeping the area a great Mt Bike destination, and hope to expand the trail network soon. The members of these 2 clubs also volunteer as guides for the rides at Mt Bike Oregon, ensuring that all the guests have a safe and fun time. The DOD and GOATS are essential to making Mt Bike Oregon so great, so place a bid for the ticket to Mt Bike Oregon today and help these clubs!

The Auction started a few days ago, and ends Sunday, April 9 around noon (Pacific Standard Time). Both auctions are for 1 ticket to either July or August MBO (you can even choose the 5 day August option with normally costs extra)
100% of the proceeds of this auction will go to trails (split between GOATS and the DOD)
