sdf1968, do you live in Pagosa or just took the first pic there? The first one looks like somewhere a couple miles north of Martinez canyon looking over Chris mountain at Eagle mountain? The second one has a 'damn near to Dulce' vibe to it.

Actually live in Montrose. The first one was coming back from a ride on the Dallas trail near Ridgway. The second one was coming back from Peach Valley, north of Montrose. Those are of Mt. Sneffels which I take way too many pics of but it really is a photogenic mountain.

Man I miss those sights. I can't get back to the mountains soon enough. Just wish I had an idea when that may be.

And this is exactly why I feel so drawn towards mountain biking!

A breath of fresh air ( or multiple lung fulls) away from urban sprawl does wonders for the body and soul.

Thank you for the eye candy!

Absolutely one of the finest places to ride. I get out there in those wildflowers and I don't want to leave.

Lots of great shots! Thanks for all those contributions, especially the fall shot in the aspens.

    Sweet shots.

WKD-RDR- Both of your shots have awesome exposure. Is that mild HDR or was the lighting really that good those days?
