Giant XTC 27.5+ vs Specialized Fuse Expert 27.5+

Just wanting to know what everyone's opinions are on these two bikes. I think I have narrowed my search down to one of the two. I currently ride a full squish 29er and miss the simplicity of the a hardtail for the trails that I ride. The most fun that I have had riding was a few years back on a Trek Stache 29er. I am now interested in the 27.5+. I am 5'10" and weigh 250 and I ride hard, grew up riding motocross. I have come to realize that I am just too heavy and hard on the bike for full suspension. Let me know what your opinions are. Thanks for the help.

Not too familiar with the Giant but I've spent a lot of time on the Specialized Fuse and it is a very good aggressive bike if the trails you ride are on the gnarlier side. It has aggressive geo with slack head tube and short chainstays which makes it great for aggressive single track and going downhill. Personally I'd downsize to a 2.8 or 2.6 tire as I thought the 3.0 tires were a bit too heavy and squirmy, but that's personal preference.
