End of year photo stoke. [o]

Nothing much to say - just pics of people riding bikes, having fun.

    Yeeeehaaaaaa!

Good advice put to good use.

Rockstars have to take a break and play just as much as the rest of us.

Different views of the same rock.

    Mrs. Puke

Most people just drop off this thing, but not Mr. Smoothie.

There is a trail in there.

When the leaves go around here, you get much better views of the McMansions.

The Friar, with his wife spectating.

    Not spectating.

Gave Bill a Ninham tour. He likes the place.

    Why are we stopping?

    Because we can.

We'll get going again soon enough.

    Awe crap.

    Oh well.

This was fun. Same rock as in the first pic, but it goes better with both feet on pedals.

    Zoooooooom!

Great pix of some N.E. trails & chunk.
Nothing quite like those algae/fungus/moss covered rocks, when wet.
    Thanks for the early gift.

Was going to say seems like you're having the same "A" typical Dec weather out there like we are out West, then I saw the "Oh crap" cold snap shots. Then things got better again so I'm going to say it now!

Just cold enough during a late fall storm to dump lots of snow on us with the leaves still on the trees. CT was pretty screwed. Had lots of clean up work once things melted.

We lost our power line, but it wasn't bad. Gas water heater, gas stove in the kitchen, city water supply. Being able to cook hot food and take a hot shower makes a big difference. Fireplace as well - I did pay a tidy sum for 1/3 cord of wood though - wanted it in a hurry under the circumstances, so... Had a wood source for a cord or two free lined up, but wasn't going to be able to get it that soon. Battery back up on my basement sump pump. Several LED lanterns and headlamps, candles, charging phones while at work, etc.

Even if it happened in mid-winter, we'd be allright. Just sleeping in the room with the fireplace!

Good stuff scrub. Thanks for sharing. Looks like a great year.

How did he generate enough speed to do that step up at the top of that leafy hill? Nice move.

The landing area is straight, with a left hand curve after about fifteen feet. Gently sloping upward. He just started a bit around the corner, and once getting to the straight, pedaled like mad.

The pic doesn't do it justice - there is actually a bit of lip at the bottom he used.

There is another one, a roll down, not a drop, more than twice the height of this one he did as well, but I missed the pic on that one. Super impressive.

After seeing him do it, it's something I want to work on. I'm a sucky jumper though - something about riding my bike towards a wall type thing doesn't sit well in my brain.

I was out at Greg's place for a week and 1/2 staying at his place and I shot this pix of him while we were riding up in Big Sky.

    Greg

He shot this one of me:

    Mike

For what ever reason I am having trouble posting pix...
