It was a bit of a whirlwind trip: Tuesday

We took Monday off from riding. Tuesday, the guys set off on their own for a little bit, as I was meeting a client at mid-day. I joined them on the trail, running while they rode. (I have a race coming up that includes running, and need to keep my fitness going in that department.) So I was the designated camera person. Unfortunately, my desire to take pictures outdid the camera's battery power. Oh well. I got lots of good pics before that on Mark's little pocket digital.

We started off on one trail, but when the combination of damp soil and slippery rock proved to be not-so-fun, we packed it in and headed to dryer territory. Here are some shots from the first trail.

Oh, and did everyone get the memo that Tuesday was blue-shirt day?

Just a hop skip and a jump, and we were on a less-slippery trail. Mark really enjoyed the challenging terrain, and continued to put the Motolite through its paces.

I recognized it is Austin, I live in College Station and am very jealous of all your trails and great pictures.

Mark's little pocket digital would automatically use the flash under the tree cover, so that reflective action happened in quite a few pics. It made me realize how many things on our biking clothes and gear have reflective bits on them!

Austin does have some fantabulously fun trails, and all within easy driving (or biking) distance. You'll have to make a trip back and do some riding!

For pics of our foray into Walnut Creek, check out this thread:
