I was working on a project with a deadline for the 11-11-11 at 11h12...

I made a wish to be able to meet the deadline and next thing I know is I'm on my bike riding trails. Wish Powar Rules !

what I was doing at 11:11 AM & PM on 11-11-11...

Well , 12 minutes ago it was 11:11:11 (or 2311 military) MST & I was answering Facebook posts. At 1111 MST I was at a Veterans' Day ceremony at a local Nursing Home/Assisted Living center (in uniform by request). Even though a lot of the older vets are sort of out-of-it they still teared up when they were honored for their past service and given a small American flag - you never can tell how much they are tracking on stuff...
Later in the day, after a visit w/a friend slowly dying of emphysema (home-bound, retired Navy Vet), I did an 8-mile ride on my 1990 Schwinn High-Plains - put on a newer seat, tweaked the handle-bar angle & added a second bottle-cage (Ice coffee!) - rode nice for a cool day (48F) here in the Bitterroot Valley of Montana.

I was flashing back to this lame subject last year with 10/10/10... and imagining how lame 12/12/12 would be...

err, I mean I did 11 miles with an average speed of 11 mph*...

    * best guesstimate. I don't own a speedometer nor a GPS.

StarPass Trail Tucson, AZ. Just finished a hefty climb and checking out the view. First time dropping the Talas and was pleased with the diff. in the climb.

Pics work now for some reason.

Sounds like it was at least a half day. Probably using up tax dollars doing a fly over for some event in LV.

I had it worse, far worse. I wish you could fathom just how much more appreciation for freedom I have now as a vet.

I'm usually at work on Friday mornings but with the holiday I had the morning off so took off for a ride.

After a snowy climb up to the top of Rob's Knob on Squaw Peak, I was approximately right here at eleven on eleven eleven eleven.

    512

It's a steep, run, rocky descent.

Luckily I was doing something out of the ordinary on that hour:

I was about halfway through a White Rim Day Lap, closing in on Murphy's from the south. Don't know exactly where but we had lunch on top at 11:30.

I was at work/school (teacher) when the children informed me that a special moment was about to occur. I was also advised to make a wish, I did, and the children were still in my room so it was not a wish come true.

Estimating time stamps on my GoPro footage, I think I was eating dirt around this time, discovering what was a roller yesterday, was a drop today. The freshly moved dirt should've been a huge give away.

At least it wasn't my bike; it was a demo from a SRAM 2x10 experience event.
