    Velebit hike & bike

So my mtb club (BK Macaklin) finally decided to do some hiking in the National Park Paklenica on South Velebit mountain here in Croatia. Normally this is a route that we bike. Its great because its about 9km to the top from where we leave the cars, then about 40minutes in total descending if you really pin it all the way to the end.. where one car is waiting to go back up for the other cars.
Because of the fun descent, we didn't manage to convince all the guys that it would be fun to do some hiking.. so we combined the 2 activities.

    Here's proof..

There's close to 200 pics, so i figured no point in putting them all here.

Of course a little color in the thread won't hurt

Beautiful terrain! The crags are impressive, is that limestone?

    Thanks for posting

Yes, i believe its mainly a type of limestone with dolomite rock as well. Great stuff to put your equipment to the test!!
