    Thou shalt Covet?

Do ever find yourself wishing for the snow to be gone so that you can ride more, even though you're an avid skier/boarder? What about in the summer; do you find yourself thinking about how much you can't wait for the snow so you can hang the bike up and pull the skis out?

I was driving through the Sierras the other night and found myself thinking both of those situations alternately. Which is funny, because where I live, there are no real "seasons," even though I've been skiing since I could walk. (My dad's Norwegian, of course.)

It made me feel guilty. Like I was cheating on my bike or something....
Sometimes, I question the value of my content.

I think that falls under "Thou Shall Not Covet" not Adultery.

No it's adultery. Coveting is the "new bike" thing, and yes I am confessing.

    Nope. skiing >>> biking.

Biking is a nice way to while away a few months in the summer...

Even though we've had an excellent amount of snow so far in the Adirondacks and snowboardings been great this year, I always find myself looking at my Niner I just finished building up and bugging out when i think how long it's going to take for all this freaking snow to melt! (AND I'm Norwegian as well!)

skiing/boarding costs $45+ gas + baby sitter so the wife can come too + her ticket. Waste of money to go more than twice a year in NY where we seldom have good conditions for a whole week (outside of the Adirondacks 4 hrs away).
I used to love winter, then i started biking.
    Bring on the spring!
