Spring Break, Raccoon Mtn, Chattanooga, TN

Well we finally made another trip to Raccoon Mtn.
Weather was great and so where the trails
Could see the remains of a lot of down trees that had to be cleared.
Thanks to all who tackled that job. Because I know what it is to hike the trails carry a chainsaw and other tools.

Steve, it was good to meet and talk with you at the eastern overlook.

The highlight of our day was watching the bald eagle catch fish in the reservoir.

Here are a couple of pics from today's (3/12/11) ride.

My Haro teetering on a rock along the Mega Watt Trail. I unclipped and bailed off just in time.

Day 2 (3/13/11) of our spring break ride(s) at RM.

    Raccoon MTN FTW

This is my favorite day trip. SORBA is opening new trails on RM soon and there are a ton of other trails in the area that could keep you busy for weeks.

Love Raccoon Mtn and I only live 2 hours from it. My favorite trail system so far.
