    Snow in El Paso, TX

We had some historic lows the past few days (3 deg F) and a little bit of snow, which provided me with a unique opportunity (this far south) for a different type of ride. We're supposed to be in the 50s and 60s this weekend so I skipped work and went for a ride before all the snow melts.

The best part was virgin snow. It was pretty sweet to see that my tracks were the only ones out there that day. The Rumblefish gripped like crazy too.

    I used a Lumix FX150 and a Kodak Playsport.

    Nice.

I lived there from 96-00. I think it snowed once...

Nice video, I'm inspired to go out and do likewise this weekend.

We were supposed to get snow over here in Houston, 3-5" of the white stuff. Nothing, not a flake, just a thin coating of ice on the trees.
It's not enough that we do our best; sometimes we have to do what's required.

This video gave me the motivation to take advantage of the slight accumulation we had in Austin this morning. It was a unique experience, but unfortunately my shock decide to give up the goat about a mile into the BCGB and I had to limp home.

I had my first few snow riding experiences around the end of december when there was a snowstorm in the Atlanta area. It's fun to ride in the snow! My bike is ill suited for it, but that was part of the fun in a way, slipping and sliding all over the place. Falling in the snow is nice too, very cushioned falls.
