    What a beautiful ride!!!

If only...but I am not, regrettably, currently in that rareified socio-economic bracket....ah, but what could be, Alas. Pity.

No offense, I know it's older, but it looks like a bike you would buy a wally world. I dont see whats so special about it .

But it did have Shimano derailers.

    Holy Hyperbole Batman!

I heard that Steve Peat almost signed for Thruster instead of Santa Cruz for next year.

If only I had a spare 40 bucks to my name that bike would be mine. I have been looking for a Thruster 18 Speed Mens / Boys Mountain Bike Road Racer to replace my crappy Santa Cruz. It is so hard to find Steel Seamless Tubing on a bike in this price range.
To top it off, it was ridden by a little old man, probably just on Sundays.

And don't forget...."it was built for serious transportation..." No dinking around on this beauty!

That is great. So who's going to e-mail him and pretend to be a seriously interested buyer? Ask some earnest questions like,"Is it really a genuine Rock Thuster? Because I've seen some cheap knock offs people are trying to pass off as the real deal on eBay."

We could string him on for awhile yet. Naw. That's just mean.

I think the listing should have read:

    Highly Collectible Kryptonite Cable Lock
This is the much sought after and hard-to-find Kryptonite Lock & Cable.
The lock and cable are made from real genuine steel and other metals.
Although this particular lock has been recalled 9 times the now deceased owner
failed to return the lock and cable for the extremely secure U Lock with the cylinder key.
If you Buy It Now we will throw in for free the bike in the picture and a BIC pen.

A bamboo steamer? That could hurt.

    Kn.
I used to be with it. Then, they changed what "it" is, and now what I'm with is no longer "it". And whatever "it" is, is strange and confusing.

I think the bike can handle and survive some 20'ers... I doubt it about the rider, unless is Bender.

    I missed my chance!

It has been sold! And I so wanted to buy it to replace my Allez Pro frame (he did say it was a road bike). Alas I must continue my search for a genuine rock thruster I bet the buyer will end up paying more for shipping than they did for the bike.
"There are those who would say there's something pathological about the need to ride, and they're probably on to something. I'd wager though that most of the society-approved compulsions leave deeper scars in the psyche than a need to go and ride a bicycle on a mountain." Cam McRea
