Quick passion post for an overworked grad student

I've been so busy lately, I havn't been able to ride much. I was getting pretty overwhelmed a few weeks ago, so I dropped everything and went for a ride. It was so worth it. Sometimes I forget how enjoyable some things in life can be, and it starts to affect the times in between when I can't do these things. So, here you go. Me at Soapstone Mountain, CT. overworked grad students of the MTBR world Unite!

Being in much the same situation I took the day off and spent the afternoon on my bike away from advising, teaching, and papers...any other grad students out there? Where are you at and what is your program? I am at Centenary College in NJ (31 miles from Diablo base) and I am in the Leadership/Public Administration Program, DONE IN DECEMBER!

    Nice shot...

Good to see you're getting out - I assume the wrist is better. I really like that pic...

We may be riding Middlesex on Sunday if you're interested.

    You know you wanna....

Seems I'm gonna be gone for the weekend... You gonna do any shorter rides before then? I'm probably too fat to keep up now, I've been three times in the last four weeks.

I've been doing a chill ride on Friday nights from 4:30 - 6:00 at Case. I may not get out this week though. Do you have lights?

chemistry....should be done in 18 months or so (I hope)

definitely nice to take a day off and ride
even nicer to take a few days off and hit the mountains

funny how the longer I'm in school, the longer my rides tend to become...

I do have a light, needs a little work, as it is a DIY project, but it is very powerful... I couldn't do it this friday either, but perhaps next?

I'm in the School Psychology program at Southern CT State U. earning my Masters + 6th yr. I'll be done in another 2 years. Getting in time to ride is hard, but when I can fit it in it's been well worth it.

UNC....close enough to Pisgah, Tsali, Bent Creek, Dupont and much more, all of which warrant at least a few weekends a year away from the madness of school...

Just got a light too....opens up a whole other world of riding!
