Older Mountain Bikers - Who is the oldest MTBer you know?

Revisiting the theme of an older thread where the last post was in 2015.
I'll start off - I'm 59, and have been mountain biking about two years after 40 years of road biking. At one time I though mountain biking was too dangerous. Now after trail riding for a couple of years I realize that road biking is MUCH more dangerous.
So who is the oldest mountain biker you know?

I do know some in their late 50's and early 60's. Out of the people I ride with, I might be the oldest or one of the oldest, at 53, soon to be 54.

I know a few in their 70s. My wife and I are in our mid 60s. I generally get hurt more mtbing than I have road cycling. Of course with road cycling there's always the specter of getting hit/killed/harassed by a motorist.

My dad is the oldest mountain biker I know. He’ll be 86 in April. Still rides dirt trails.

i'm a weekday morning rider which means i hang with a fair number of retired folks. there are plenty of really strong riders over 60 in our community, including a handful over 70 and one 80 year old who is a legendary trail builder in the area - he still rides very regularly and i've seen him drop guys half his age going uphill.....

I semi-regularly rode with a guy that was 70. He was moderately fast, but he was an endurance animal and could just motor for hours without dropping a pace.

I rode briefly with a guy this weekend that was 78. He wasn't fast, but he could climb at a good pace.

We could all be so lucky.

Mountain biking is an unusual venue in that it seems to attract plenty of us geezers and meeting them is usually pretty easy. The trail head is a good gathering spot.
