    Maybe not what you'd expect.

Our non-traditional and very enjoyable way to spend the 24th and 25th of December. Bonus that Fang got to join us for parts of it.

Nothing necessarily wrong with traditional holiday celebrations, we just needed a little change from what we've always done. And yeah, the change was kinda nice.

Wow. Beautiful scenery, nice mix of shot styles..n I dug the native music too.
10 fingers up (and that don't mean number 10--more like numero uno).

Seriously though it's got to be in the top 3 or 4 vids I've seen here. And I envy riders that can ride that kind of terrain. Poor me would be walking half those rocky outcroppings.

Wow she's a pretty good rider. I know some of those technical sections would have scared the crap out of my GF.

Cool vid. How wide are those handlebars? Holy smoke. I guess here in the woods we need to run 'em shorter!

She runs 28's, mine are a bit over 30.

There are one or two places where we have to pay attention with those widths, but that's a small (and worthwhile) tradeoff for the added leverage and control everywhere else.

    Mine, or hers?

She's got a 2.4 Ardent on a 24mm rim. ~Tight but not ridiculous in that Reba.

I've got a 2.5 Dissent on an MTX 33. Huge. Waaaaay more clearance in my fork than hers--like 7+mm all the way around the arch. POV cam angle makes it look like much less, but there's plenty.

Very nice, Mike. I like that the riding was unhurried; just rolling and enjoying the moment. Oh, and that's about as far as I usually make it on the Horsethief drop-in, too. I'd like to think that if I were local, I could session it enough to consistently nail it, but it seems to change w/ the seasons, so perhaps not. Thx!

Dude, I would've traded my Xmas with yours in a heartbeat. When your closest blood relatives are an un-communicative computer genius recluse, and a slightly crazy hyperactive artist who generally only talks about themself and how great everyone thinks they are ... "non-traditional holiday celebration" is a pretty darn good option. Especially if it's riding with the important people (and pets) in your life.

Awesome vid as usual. Love the shot of the dog watching the rider in the distance. Perfect.

Nice. Looks like a great way to spend Christmas to me.

I missed this when it was posted. I must've been on vacation.
