Lower Sunset Trail in El Paso (vid)

Another awesome ride in the perfect early spring weather we've been seeing. It was 80 degrees and no wind. This was my second time out to the Tom May's section of Franklin Mountain State Park and I am still very impressed. I had no idea there was a trail with views such as this out here. The ride is awesome and the climbing is a kick-ass cardio workout.

This was the second time out riding this trail out at Franklin Mountain State Park, Tom May's unit in west El Paso. Shot using Kodak Playsport and GoPro HD.

Ahh yes, the Franklins. Ridden that trail many times.

You know it'll connect out by Anthony Gap to the NE and back over Mundy's Gap down into Tom Mays, right? Great great ride.

You think the views there are great, wait till you see them from Mundy's.

You shouldn't be walking that last climb out of the the trail system though...

Yes....been out to Mundy's a few times from the Northeast side of town (where I live). Great views! I was walking because I've had a lazy winter
