I watched it. It was pretty cool.

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood and I,
I took the road less traveled by and
It has made all the difference. R Frost

It wasn't just pretty cool, it was AMAZING. It's basically Planet Earth for bikes. I've watched it three times now, once with my parents, who also loved it. I could literally watch it on repeat. Every single frame could be a still image in itself.

It isn't the most extreme, and doesn't have many real time shots (most are in slow motion), but it is captured so well.

So well produced, you will love it.

The best movie to help show someone our passion for riding bikes for somebody that doesnt understand the "bid" deal about it. Yes though...Amazing!

That trailer blew me away. Can't imagine what the effect of seeing it in it's entirety will be like WANT. BAD.

    It's ok....

The presentation, effects, and overall "feel" of the movie is fantastic. Great production values for sure, but if you looking to see some sweet bike action.... I'd look elsewhere. It's a work of art for sure, but a FUN bike movie, it is not.

By all means though, it deserves a watch. I just wasn't as impressed with it as I was hoping to be.

I ordered Life Cycles when I read this post on March 11th, I just got it yesterday, it came from Canada about 200 miles from here, and it took 2 weeks LOL, damn EH!! Well it was worth the wait, GREAT movie, the life cycle of bicycles, the life cycle of a river, and the life cycle of his grandpa, it was only 50 minutes, I wanted it to go on forever, I guess it does in real Life Cycles,,, thanks for posting.. Happy Trails

Yeah I never came back to respond, that's funny you had a crazy wait. Anyway I had the same feeling, WAY nice, lots of awesome visuals, certainly a different video than a lot of your typical "Freewheel Burning" or whatever vids that focus primarily on riding, this video seems to me to be more about the why we ride aspect. I also agree, it was way short, I definitely was bummed when it ended you do want it to keep going on, but maybe that's the point. You're left wanting so its time to take it to the trail.

    Do yourself a favor....

.....get the Blu-Ray version, definitely worth the $$$. Before I get flamed, I am sure the standard def is great the filming/production on this film SCREAMS for High Def....

    Okay onto the film:

    1. Makes you Jones to ride like most MTB films do, but it does it in a way that makes you want to cry at the same time!

    2. Cinematography is beyond most other things I have seen, and I am an HD Aficionado, I got the theater to prove it.

    3. It is a perfect blend of the Discovery Channel HD, TLC HD, and the show How It's Made, with some gnarly Riding as the core.

    4. The narration is on point and deserves as much credit as the cinematography for really pulling at your heart strings about what it is to BIKE!!!

Amazon is where I got mine too!

    Bike on!
