... and if we just ... Fun Rides Last Weekend :)

Las week I had a couple of "playing hooky" rides in the middle of the week, that was awesome, to have all the trails just for us.
We went to to Lake Morena, only my second time at this trail system in East San Diego and we had a great time.

A couple of days later off to Crestridge

And more snakes, this time was a mean Rattle Snake.

And on the weekend there was a friend's b-day to celebrate at San Juan Trail in the OC

    Good times

    Nice shots!

That is one fat rattler! Hopefully that means he's well fed and non-aggressive.

I love all the spring flowers, just saw some of our first one for the season last night... I think, I had lights on for the ride, so I need to go back and check.

That's near Corral canyon OHV, right? Buckman Springs Road exit?
Yep, that's the one, fun trail system but watch out for quads and dirt bikes on weekends.

Looks like a great place to ride....although Im a little concerned about snakes. I guess you just have to stay on the trail.

I would consider a vacation in that area (any tips, places to ride places to stay?)

For places to ride look up mountainbikebill.com for trail info or post at the Socal forum before you come.
