Another Dirty Hippy Opens Their Mouth...

Any guesses on who made this outragous claim and when did they say it?

Why are you posting that in here? Move it to the sociopolitical idealogue psuedointellectualism forum.

    I have no clue

No clue as to who the poster is, nor the meaning of the dogmatic spew. I think they're trying to say we need to preserve natural resouces for our children....and democrats.

Do I win some kinda prize for being wrong, Ken?

Right man, but it's from A Book-Lover's Holidays in the Open, 1916.

How is it outrageous Ken? Makes perfect sense to me. I can't see the need to label someone a 'hippy' just beacause they are pro-conservation. You may not give a $hit about the welfare of the future generations but some of us do.

Doesn't seem outrageous except that it's attacking the problem ass backwards to my way of thinking; we need less people to make the resources more available in that democratic sense. If only Teddy had seen how crowded it would get seeing as how the population in the US has roughly tripled since 1916.

sounds to me more like someone just trying to appear a lot smarter than they are by using fancy wording and lots of run-on sentences that they wouldn't normally use in conversation. They need to keep in mind that this is a rather INFORMAL board...

Teddy Roosevelt was actually a window licker on the short bus. He just had a great PR machine that made him look all smart and stuff.

***Panacea Disclaimer**** Hey Panacea, I was kidding again. I don't really think Roosevelt's PR machine was that great.

Here's one for you, who said this and how can his advice benefit people like you, Brian and Cabin Fever?
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.
