    Injured hand at home.

Well plans to get a new bike are on hold. I was cleaning our hardwood floor and made a dumb rookie mistake. I wiped quickly with the grain. I caught a splinter so deep that it can't be reached and rubs against something when I move my middle finger.

One doctor tried to get it out and if it doesn't work it's way out or gets infected I will have to seek a more invasive $$$ removal.

Needless to say I won't be riding for a while.

Entry wound, whitish spot to the left of the wound is the bump fron the end of the splinter.

Doc said he didn't see anything... but there it is.
