    Damn the crank on my new bike is sharp...

    Freak fall and cut shin on crankset. 11 staples needed.

    My brother had a similar thing happen to him except it got him on the back of his calf. he now has a six inch scar from it.

    The outer ring of the crankset is what we think did the cut. New bike..it's razor sharp...

    Freak thing, i could fall in the same place 100 times and never repeat it...

    It happened to me on the back of my shin, didnīt caused much harm, just looked like I had been in a fight with wolverine and freddy crueger.

    OK, staples are out but wound is infected...this new bike is the gift that keeps on giving....

    Still can't wait to get back on consistently...damn rain...

    That's a bummer, man, hope that clears up sooner rather than later.

    My mate hopped a ditch once, chain came off as he landed, foot slipped off the pedal and he ended up with the top two rings stuck in his calf. Yanked his leg off the rings and spent the day cleaning it with cotton buds - should've gone to the hospital really but ended up just dressing it himself and now has two mean, mean scars there.
    Just a child getting older...
