New question here. Armor... Before and After...

I have been reading all your post about injuries and mishaps on the trials. I was just wondering how many of you were wearing some type of armor or how many of you are wearing it now after your falls? I have the usually scrapes and cuts but nothing really serious that requires hospital or time off. Just wondering your input ?

My doc told me I can start riding again in about 4 weeks (broken collarbone and concussion) and I know that I will be a little nervous riding the first time.

I will use my lacrosse shoulder pads the first few times out and I'm the first to admit its a mental thing, but this has been my worst year for getting wrecked, so in my case, I think its a prudent move.

Once I get my mojo back, I'm sure I'll be fine.

I think it would be wise to invest in some armor. I'm looking into the Fox Brand Padding for Knees and Elbows... There the two that take the most beating.

Now I ride with DH knee pads on every ride (661 Evos). It may seem crazy, but that's the worst place to fall for me. Riding a FF helmet would be overkill and really hot for most of the places I ride, and I still can't find a comfy pair of elbow pads.
i want to keep it safe but i don't want to look like Batman on a bike either you know.
