    2017 New Model Predictions

With the cold and sloppy weather in the midwest, that leaves many of us day dreaming of new bikes and past rides while riding the trainer.

My day dreaming had me wondering what Pivot would launch in 2017 after a blowout year in 2016 with the Switchblade, Firebird, 429SL, LES 29 and Vault.

Here are my predictions for the year:

LES 27.5 - February - Revised geometry, Improved cable routing ports, Di2 compatible, 26+ compatible or phased out from the line.

Mach 4 - June - Revised geometry, Boost rear triangle, increased travel to 120-130mm to compete with 5010, Mojo 3.

429 Trail - June - A premium model with internal cable routing and top of the line carbon to reduce weight by .5 lbs. New colors.

Mach 6 - September - New colors. I am at a loss of what they would update though.

Mach 6 - needs geometry overhaul. The geo is what has people second guessing the bike. They need a 6 inch travel trail / enduro bike that has longer reach.

I'd love to see the Les 27.5 run both 27.5 and 27.5+. I'd rather the bike sit a little higher going that way than it getting lower with the 29/27.5+ route. And might as well make it slacker as the racers are going with the 29er anyways

    ^this
I'd be getting a Mach 6 if it had updated geo. No one beats Pivots carbon frame as far as quality, stiffness and weight.
An aggressive shorter travel 27.5 like the Calling would be a nice addition also.

^this too. Hopefully a Mach 6 with more reach/steeper STA and space to have a water bottle inside front triangle! Can't imagine how well this will sell, same applies for this next one... A 130mm 27.5 trail ripper with modern geo/styling would be incredible as well. Maybe even able to run 26x2.8? A mini switchblade I suppose?! What would they call this little beast is the question?
