    Wyoming State Forest/Roaring Creek Watershed

The DCNR last year acquired what was the Roaring Creek Watershed (in Columbia and Northumberland counties), and added it into the Wyoming State Forest. I've heard there are some trails suitable for MTB there, ... on a few occasions when driving Rt 42, I've seen cars parked along the side of the road, with what looks like (empty) bike racks on the cars.

A map shows what looks like a relatively flat service road in the valley bottom, and I've read this is still an active watershed/water supply for the private company that previously owned it. Which means there are restrictions on fishing and boating, ... and possibly other things.

Any info or exprience riding the trails there?

i have friends who rode through that area last year. they havent been there this year. they always entered from rt 54 which runs from Elysburg to Mt Carmel. at the top of the mountain, there is a town called Natalie. trails begin on the Mt Carmel side of the town.
i guess it is decent riding, mostly dirt bike and ATV trails. i also heard it is easy to get turned around, so take a compass.
