    Wissahickon Trail Map

Does anyone have a map for the best MTB trail or "loop" to follow around the park?

    City of Philadelphia: Trails

If you live in the city a donation is requested, if you live outside the city like me you have to buy a permit. I always ask for 2.

You can also go on strava and do a segment explore in the wiss and click on some of the riders. Should not take too long to find a few regulars and their loops. It will also give you an idea of the terrain (elevation) as well.

if you wanna PM me your email address I have a pretty nice one (do GIS work for a living) I made for PMBA before it folded a few years back. We were going to give them away or something but the project never materialized.

Also if anyone has a spot to host this map i'd love to put it up on the interwebz somehow so it can be used by anyone/everyone.

According to the Friends of the Wissahickon newsletter, the Roxborough side will face major closings. There is orange netting closing the area known as Demo 1 which is the trail that runs from Wise's Mill Road south to the top of 7mph hill. I was coming south from Bell's Mill and just went down Wise's Mill and found 7mph hill which is on Forbidden before the VGI parking lot at the bottom of Wise's Mill Road.

Averbuks: If you send me a mailing address, I will send you the official map. I ride near sun up on the weekends if you're up that early.

All: I received my trail tags this week and this year's color is clashing orange.

Google Maps has most of the Wissahickon trails. I've been editing the map to correct mistakes and to add missing trails. They have gotten much faster at publishing corrections so most of the missing trails should be added in a month.

Google Maps now has virtually all of the bike legal trails in the Wissahickon. I added missing trails and used Strava to correct the incorrectly drawn trails. There are still a few edits awaiting approval and some minor additions to be made over the next few days. I didn't add the trails at the Andorra Nature Center since I don't have GPS data for the area. If anyone notices anything incorrect let me know and I can fix it.
