Where Can I ride in Stroudsburg, PA.?

Gonna be in Stroudsburg in April and I'm looking to ride in this area.

Where can I go to ride?

Has anyone ridden at Jacobsburg State Park?

    Thanks,
    dirty bert

if you ride agressive all mountain or fr/dh, glen park is right in stroudsburg. there is a lot of sick stuff up there. i'd be happy to meet up for a ride a couple times. i work at the shop in town but after work.

Jacobsburg is nice, not really aggressive but good all around XC. Some of the bridges have been washed away because of flooding, but most of the time you can just use the car bridges. There is some decent singletrack.

Is Jim Thorpe far from there? An hour?
DH/FR isn't my thing (i'm bad at it), I'm looking for some well marked cross country trails and I was hoping to hook up with someone else.

    Thanks for the responses.

Yeah Jim Thorpe is about an hour, just take 209 south all the way there. Glen Park has some good XC trails too, and camelback is good. Camelback is only about 20 minutes away.

We have 5 local riding spots in the Lehigh Valley. Walking Purchase Park in Salisbury Twsp. is probably your best bet. Well groomed (new) trails. Everything is marked and there are a lot of local riders to show you around. Check out the forums at bikevmb.com.
