Roads suck about as much as this rain does.

I ride the roads in Bucks County around the New Hope area and above. It is some of the best road riding around....lots of steep climbs, dirt roads mixed in, with almost no traffic.

This weather does suck. I just got over two weeks of nasty bronchitis and now it rains every day. My 29 ers are getting dusty and not from being on the trails.

Just get your self an urban/jumping bike and go find a skate park or industrial park and have fun. But yeah this weather does blow.

Been dying to ride, but I'm not going to be the guy who tears the ever living crap out of the trails here in MT Penn. I am also seriously lazy this year. Its pathetic. I can't seriously call myself an mtber as I've not been out on dirt once this year. Terrible. Time, weather...excuses.

You're right, there are some nice roads; "SE PA" was a little vague. To be honest, if I head out west of me - western Chester County - there is some decent road riding. And where I grew up - Berks County - there is also some decent riding... and I think that's what spoiled me. Riding in 'burban Filly just isn't my thing. Given the weather, I should be able to just hop in my canoe and paddle down the road!

You can always spend some of the down time watching Stanley Cup playoff hockey. Oh...right....sorry.

    Go Pens.

Roadie? I do NOT look good in spandex! I'll get off my duff when it dries out. Until then I'll tune my bike every other day and wish for sunshine.

Maybe then I can stop myself from trolling eBay looking for used Prophet frames! (and wishing I wasn't poor)

Looks like the rain and the Pens will be ending at the same time. Someone wake up Gino.

So I went out yesterday just around town after it dried up a bit. I loved it until I ended up with a flat rear tire many blocks from my house. Walking down the road with a flat sucks worse than walking down the trail with a flat. Best part was I figured I didnt need to take my camelbak with my spares in it since I was just going around town.

I hope to hit some dirt Sunday.

My buddy went out today up at Mt. Penn/ Antietam around one this afternoon and said the trails were primo! They drain very well up there considering how much rain we got. Im going tomorrow at 1030 am, well actually that would be today (sat)!!
