Time to fight with our government for our parks in Philly

Hey everyone, we knew this would happen, and it's time to start the war. Read this article and send this woman an email with your thoughts:

Here is what I sent her:
As a long time Philadelphia resident, taxpayer and extensive park user, I am completely appalled that someone in our City Council would introduce a bill that would allow construction to take place in any area or our beautiful Fairmount Parks.

You and your colleagues who support this atrocity should be ashamed of yourselves. I reassure you that this will not happen and you will not be reelected ever again in the future.

There are way too many people who have a conscious and care about our open space much more than you will ever understand.

I hope that you will reconsider this horrible decision, but I am not going to hold my breath because it is short term thinking that made you propose this bill as well as some selfishness, I am sure.

    Good job!

    Lou:

Doesn't Fairmont fall under historic land and can never be developed? Worth checking into!

Good Luck and imagine they would still charge 20 bucks to see the houses!

Thank for supporting and posting important info.
