    Spring Mountain

    Hi,

Looking to head up to this place to check out the DH/FR trails. I remember there being a thread about the place but cant find it! Anyone got any general directions on how to get to the trail head at the mountain? Easy enough to park at the actual ski area and just find it from there?

    Thanks!

I like to ride it clockwise and all of the races I have done there were clockwise. The trial head is not hard to find. If you park at main lodge and are facing the lodge, the trail head is to your left. It is in between numbers 6 and 14 on this attached map. I don't think the trails there are ridden much and are not marked but you should be able to figure it out.

there is a couple guys that still work on the dh trails there. You will have to push to the top and it's a hike. I go over every once in a while, but mainly ride at Mt Penn. in Reading or some local stuff around me.

If you want trails that are shuttle-able, pretty well defined, and have up-to-date maintainence then yes, Reading is a good bet.
