    See what your favorite riding areas USED to look like

    This website has aerial photos of PA dating back to 1939. Very cool - I've already spent hours following railbeds and old trolley lines etc. Now when you pass by an old foundation in the middle of nowhere you can likely look and find what kind of structure used to be there. Navigation might take a minute or two to figure out but you basically pick an era, zoom in and click the red dot,

    I recommend downloading the photos in high resolution - then you can REALLY zoom in. Enjoy!

    I've had Penn Pilot for years...

    ...my cousin photoed a few of them, as he worked for Ariel photo company.

    He gave me the original glass plate photo of my house, after they stopped using glass plate photos, I still have it...

    ...really cool!
