    Nox poker run turnout?

Wasn't able to get over there Sun. Just wondering what kind of turnout they had for the Nox Poker Run.

Not meaning to hijack, but I'm curious about the current trail conditions at Nockamixon. I plan to ride there this weekend.

Great turnout for the poker ride. Bacon! Awesome weather. Trail conditions dry and generally leaf covered.

Sounds like it was a classic fall ride!

max-a-mil and Clayncedar, thanks for the trail condition info. I appreciate it.

Originally planned for a Sunday ride; Saturday is now looking more promising due to rain.

Is there a preferred direction to ride the trails? I've been there once (years ago), but can't remember trail specifics.

    Thanks, in advance.

I tend to ride it clockwise, but honestly, it's good in either direction. This is starting at the parking lot on the other side of the lake, just over the bridge on 563, that's on the 412/Owowcow ice cream shop end of 563.

I'd suggest riding all of it clockwise except Upper Haycock Run and, surprisingly enough, South Park. Try those two the opposite of what most people do - you might be surprised just how well they run that direction.

He means counterclockwise except those two I'm sure.

Yeah, I ended up riding them, making 'all Rights', so counterclockwise, I guess. I forgot how great those trails are!!
The smooth flow is a welcome change after riding the past couple months of NEPA rocks and roots.

    Thanks for the help everyone!!

I like to turn left at the first intersection and ride half of Haycock clock-wise (left at next intersection) then I do the rest counter clock-wise, although the entire systems rides great in either direction. I usually change direction when doing multiple laps or on different days.
