    Good job!

    Buddy 123, Panhead:

    mOOn handles water very well...

As far as bringing something, I don't know we seem to have lot's of food already. At this pace I will have to ask Cliff for the Nature Center for our 4 course meal with professional chef! as I think I saw a side of beef running around the mOOn!

I think I deserve a "cupcake or donut" for shearing the crank off my bike last week! I called Steamtown national park to see if they had any connecting rods off the Big Boy locomotive Ranger John Muhah offered me one on loan for a while and gave me the number to Jenny Craig!

Looks like we will have to ride 20 more miles to burn it all off! I think we have a Hubbard syndrome going on, and that's a good thing.

Like John G. says "One more hill" then we eat!

Also don't be surprised if I show up in a new 2010 Chevy Camaro after all 5/6/09 is the debut of the new Camaro. Yee Haa, I wonder if Mr Crossin owner of Bonner Chevorlet would mind a bike rack on the test ride car?

Wow I'm gonna miss a big party it seems, but I'll be on my way to the big Raystown Lake party so I won't be able to make this one. Is anyone else heading over to Raystown on the weekend?

Just hit Wilkes Barre, so I'll be swinging by. Left my dress shoes home, brought 2 pair of riding shoes, though. Dockers and a pair of mountain Sidi's might start a new trend !

    Good job!

    Plans:

I will lead a shorter, easier ride anyone wishing to do this type of ride with me are welcome. This way I can even bail to get back to help Chuck & Loren if they will also help me to get things ready. After all I can ride the mOOn anytime! I hope I could ask some of our faster riders to lead a ride with our out of state friends. Jeff Brull? Dave Scott? Do you mind?

If it rains I will ask Clif Madrack the park PM if we can use the Nature Center which is totally self contained with a full kitchen and bathrooms, but we will still meet at the main gate first for the ride and see how it goes. I have to thank Clif in advance for giving us propane and the use of the park anemities. Please feel free to email him at: [email protected] Clif as well as park staff have always helped mt bikers as well a great job they do at the mOOn! Please take 2 minutes to drop them a message!

Thanks to all who support and see ya at the mOOn tomorrow for the food, fun, and friendship!

We don't need a hammerfest for me, I'd rather moveat a nice pace and get the feel of it. Of course, some hammering is good . Tossing around heading down to the Tubs around 6 tomorrow am. I think I'm about 15 mins away.

Good riding with you all tonight...

thanks for the ride tonight....appreciate the cookout after too! Trail conditions were really good...that little bit of humidity and dampness made it a challenge....overall great night to be out riding. Ride ON!

Thanks for the tour of the mOOn. Great bunch of guys and gals, you made an out-of-towner feel like one of the locals . I was thinking of what the park reminded me of back in Jersey and I came up with a cross between Lewis Morris/ Stewart and Mahlon Dickerson, so you have 3 great places in one. I'm probably about 125 miles away and I will definetly be back, the wife is OK with me dropping her at the casino and riding. Big plans for the place, keep at it and it will work. Pretty bad with names, I think it was Jay (the other rigid SS rider)- sell the Biscane and go full time SS, you have it in ya. After a little while you'll hit the zone where your mind just empties and its just you and the trail, no noise, no shifting just spinning. Thats what SSing is all about, nothing else. Good luck my Brothers, see some of you at Tymor in a few weeks!!!
