Not yet. But I'm a little fuzzy from a 500 mile drive back home. Eatough should be forever known as the Supreme Masher. I'm sure there's a few pros who'd love to see him in the cape and mask...;>)

Don shot all those. I thought they were some nice pics, too. He's using a Nikon DSLR setup, I think a D70 and a D80.

A few of what I took are on my blog with my recap.

Go to the MBM Blog and you'll see links on the right-hand side of the page. see if you can figure out which one's mine!

Does anyone know of a map of the course for this year? Anyone that can find and put up a link would be helpful.

Race Director hasn't put a map up yet. As far as I know, it's pretty much the same trails, but starting from Long Pine Reservoir.

more discussion on how 2011's Michaux Mash/Carlisle Crush went http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.ph...t=michaux+mash

i'll be putting in more long hard rides and getting the nutrition right next time. to do this stuff, ya gotta up the ante or turn in 2 or less laps. i put in 3. a 4th would've just made the miserable and a simple leap up one place in standings. no thanks. i learned plenty.

I put in 2 laps and then broke my derailleur because of the mud.

too bad. closing in on lap 3, i was secretly hoping for a flat. then i realized i forgot all about deflating my tires. would've helped carve off maybe 7 seconds

under those conditions, i now wish i had the singlespeed 29er
