New question here. Merli-Sarnoski Park aka Fell Mountain......

Anyone been up riding Fell Mountain? Wondering about conditions? Jim Thorpe has plenty of storm damage so wondering if Fell Mountain had damage. Planning on riding there Sunday morning. THanks.

This is a little late, as it is already sunday morning, and late morning at that. But other than erosion on a few climbs there isn't any storm damage. I ride there 3-4 times a week and all the trails i've been on lately have been clear.

    TRail is in great condition.........

Rode Fell Mtn yesterday for the first time this season. Trails were in fantastic condition. The new horse corral at the start threw us off a bit but we quickly found trails. No evidence of logging as of yet.

The planned loging is actually on the other side. Down near the boatlauch. Imagine riding the trails "backwards" then you would see all the marked trees to be cut.

    Best it's been in years

Was there today (and most Sundays @8AM). Trails are in great condition because it's been so dry. Check out our website for other Lackawanna county riding Hubbard Bike Club

you guys make it there SO early. i normally don't mosey over there until about 4:00. The perks are that no one else is ever even in the parking lot. Is it crowded in the mornings?

    Never see anyone

There are some guys (one is a silver Escort with a VT sticker on the back) that get there earlier than us. We never see them on the trails. What I like about Merli is on days like today we end the ride by going in the lake at the beach. It's the best!
