I should be able to make it. We can ride there or at our place if you like or start at one and end at the other.

Sounds great, calling for some type of storm around Saturday. If we don't get dumped on with snow I'm there...

How'd Dozer sleep after the 12 miles he put in??hahahhaa

    Good job!

    Man... another great ride invite?

    You guys ROCK!

What really scares me is "DOZER" is only gonna get bigger and stronger! He's already got the Big 500cc 2 Stroker "BARK"... RUFF

I like cr500's idea of riding both places! Just too much FUN!

    Merry Motox-mas
    Happy New Gear

Hahaha...Dozer hasn't gotten out of first gear all day but I think he's OK. Thanks for asking. Hopefully the motor gods or Santa will give us decent weather for Saturday.

    Wink

Ends up being 50 bucks per tire on an MTB

I doubt the knobs on your small block 8's will be big, or deep enough, so add a new set of Nevgals to that price!

I'll stick to hex heads, or carbide cutters! Never failed me yet, and really cheap, just run them into a used set of tires and good to go!

Doing my set of MTB stud tires this week.

Suzuki's tires are already done, but I doubt I will mount them yet, Evansville snow scrambles start Janurary 15th might be 80 degrees by then.

The grip studs will last several seasons, just remove them and put them in the next tire. I have a set for the dirtbike from last year and they look pretty much new. I'm not buying the mt bike studs, once the snow sets in I'll just put the road bike on the Tacx and drip in the house...

I have to replace the crank seal on the CRF and then I should be back on the gas. I'll be ready for Evansville.

    Good job!

    Agreed,

the metal screws last 27 seconds on a Moto, longer on the MTB, Carbide cutter last long but use the screw it in principle so ya loose them!

At least E-Ville isn't as rocky as Hunlocks.

Make sure ya check your rimlock... LOL

The grip studs are an auger instead of a screw. I would bet a set of mt bike studs would last a lifetime.

I never forget the rimlock, I just overtighten and break them 20 mins before the race...
