    Jim Thorpe campgrounds

I'm planning on a camping trip up to jim Thorpe area in a few weeks with a new to me small camper. It's not going center around mtb but probably more hiking. Any one know of a decent campground? Thanks

Mauch Chunk lake was a good one. It's been a couple years but it was a fond memory. When I lived in Bethlehem I'd hangout up there.

Agree. Got the lake and near wherever you may be hiking

Can you take a camper there? That did seem to be the most appealing from the websites but, it also, looked like it was tent only. I don't have a diesel pusher or anything just a small vintage 12 footer.

No campers in the park, only tent sites.
    You might try jimthorpecamping
That's almost in the park, right on the Switchback trail.

X2. Went there for a paintball & biking weekend years ago. Great spot, great memories.
