hunting season - orange riding gear

for those of us who have to share the woods with hunters this time of year, thought it might be good to have a resource of riding gear that is orange (for safety).

it doesn't necessarily have to be riding specific, i know there's a few companies out there that make tech t-shirts in orange, the 100% brand stuff i posted below is just the first i found in a quick search.

    100% Airmatic 3/4 Jersey - $60

100% Celium Short - $160 (too pricey for me)

    https://www.ride100percent.com/mount...cone-zone.html

    100% Airmatic glove - $30

    https://www.ride100percent.com/mount...ange-navy.html

i know there has to be less expensive options out there too.

There's a vendor in europe available via Amazon that lists it at about 60$.

Picked this up in the spring. always liked orange but had hunting season in mind since I ride all over PA/NY in the Fall and winter. great helmet btw. had a white trabec for years.

Do you guys cut back you riding this time of year or just be more careful?

I have been hitting Moon Lake on Sundays but would love to ride more. I don't see a lot of hunters there though. Didn't know how safe it was during the week.

I've got a few of these. Mostly black, but one in orange for hunting season.

    $10 and work great.

During rifle deer season which starts next weekend, the trails are actually closed for 2 weekends on one side of the highway that bisects the trail system, and 3 weekends on the other side (different hunting zones).

Bow season for deer has been going on for awhile. Trails remain open, but orange shirts are recommended.

Yes, and hiking too. I usually start wearing orange in Bow season, but get a bit more cautious once rifle season starts.

I night ride and ride Sundays. My outlook on it is that hunting season isn't that long, so why bother the hunters or risk an accident.

Hit Moon Lake on Wednesday for the 6:15PM night ride. Always a fair amount of riders, and it's a no drop ride. Make sure you have a decent light since the ride now leaves when it is dark. Helmet mounted lights are better. And you can find some decent buys on Amazon. You don't need to spend a fortune.
    LOVE THE RIDE!
