    Howdy!

I used to ride quite a bit when I was younger, but for no reason in particular I got out of it for several years (the dirt bike played a small roll, I'm sure). Last summer I got back out on my old bike and, aside from having a blast, I also realized that I was long overdue for a new ride. I have been looking at new bikes, but was limited in options because of my budget. Thankfully I scored a deal on a used Diamondback Atroz Comp that I couldn't pass up. I always rode the same trails back then and I'm hoping to get out and see more of the trails that this state has to offer! I am in the NEPA area. Any recommendations?

    Welcome!

Where did you ride back then? Town? Area?

You can view lots of other threads here on mtbr, plenty of places to ride.

For the most part I would ride from Montage Mountain Rd up past Lake Scranton towards the #2 dam. Lots of riding in that area, but getting to the unfamiliar stuff can be kind of grueling. While I do enjoy endurance riding and tackling different riding environments, I'm definitely looking forward to bringing my bike to ride some trails where I start at the top and work my way down. A lot of the riding I have done over the years is a struggle one way rewarded with the downhill on the way back.
