Good job! Headed to Ray's Mtb. park in Cleveland, OH

The Valley Mountain Bikers are making a one day trek on the 21st of Jan. out to Ohio to ride at Ray's indoor mountain bike park. We will be leaving from the juntion of Rte. 476 and Rte. 80 at 5:30 am. There is a large convenience store on the left when you get off of the highway (WA-WA I think???) We will drive out that day, ride until late in the day and come home that night. We will be driving in shifts on the way back home so each person gets a bit of a break. The drive time is about 6 hours so we should get there between 10:30 and 11:00. We went last year and had an awesome time. Its like nothing you've ever experienced.

    Kris,

Might be helpful to post a date for your trip! Have fun. Unique venue or not, 12+ hrs in a car for a day of indoor riding ain't my cup of tea.

Joe, thanks for the heads up on the trip date. You think you covered all the details then... whoops. Yeah 12 hours of car time isn't that exciting but it pays off in the end. We stayed overnight last year and the second day was a blast. Maybe next year we'll make it an over night trip. A long weekend would be the way to go, Fri-Sun. It would be nice to see some of the sites. Not this year though.

It was a long ride but well worth it! If anyone gets a chance to go there, you won't be disappointed. There are a few new things, like the pump track, street park and the foam pit. Nothing like launching 10ft in the air only to land without a care in a huge pit of foam.

Heheh....yeah, if you say so. I'd rather spend those 12 hrs out riding some singletrack but, hey, to each their own.

Glad you had a good trip.
