Snowshoe is 3.5 hours from pittsburgh I go there when i can. What kind of riding are you into cross country, free riding, downhill, dirt jumping, urban?

Cross country- i would suggest you goto the Trail Finder on this site, most of the trails listed around the Pittsburgh area are for cross country riding.

Downhill and Freeriding - I go to Snowshoe(3.5hr from pitt), Blueknob(1.5-2hr from pitt), South Park(25-30min from pitt), Frick park. Another place is Mountain creek NJ but i have not been there, i think it would be about a 4 hour drive.

DirtJumping - stuff is usually hidden by the builders around here, build your own somewhere or find were some are from a friend.

Urban - Where ever you want to go.

If you want some specifics about the DH-FR places let me know i can tell you where good rides are.

Find your way to Speedgoat. Its about 1/12 hours away, they are good people and can hook you up with whatever is arourd your area. Route 30 east about 20 minutes east of Latrobe.

Boyce Park has a very nice trail system. Its near Monroeville. If you go, park by the tennis courts and start from there.
