Getting back into riding in Philly area

After a hiatus of over a year as entrance into the college lifestyle saw me tilt dangerously towards partying above riding, I've fixed up my Trek 8500 to tip top condition and have been feeling the passion like I never remembered before.

I've mostly been riding in Belmont Plateau and have done 2 trips to the Wiss, but unfortunately all my riding has been alone and I'm looking for any sorts of groups for solid XC.

I'm from the Dominican republic and raced there and in the Caribbean all throughout highschool, but now my form is definitely off from its peak and it'll probably take me a while to get it back.

Any XC riders in the Philly area around here??

Yeah, as jdinsj said, go to phillymtb.org. It's the site for the Philadelphia Mountain Bike Association. They have group rides almost every day of the week at the Wiss, and then a lot of weekends trips to places a little farther away. Not to mention they are a great group of people.

Just a note, the Wed night ride from VGI is at 5:30, not 6, it's been moved in spring to take advantage of longer day light...

and at this point it's light out till 8:40 so you don't need that extra 30 minutes any longer.
